After all, we are a volunteer organization.  Feel free to volunteer your unique talents, rather than thinking only in terms of items shown below.  These are just examples of needs, separated into relevant stages of the non-profit's development.  But sometimes we are constrained by imagination, and we don't even know what we are missing.

Remember, many hands make light work.

Phase 0: cloud

• Accounting and record-keeping, financial oversight

• IT and systems

• Legal advice

• Social media communications

• Forum moderation

• Web designers

• Grant writers

• Real estate expertise

Phase 1: actual construction

All of the above, plus people helping with creating the facility:

• Design

• Any of the licensed trades willing to volunteer, e.g. electrician and plumber

• Electrical and plumbing prep work

• Carpentry, drywall, insulation, soundproofing

• Tiling, glasswork, counters

• Trim and special features

• Painting and artwork

• Furniture, especially cheap but good adjustable height tables

• Audio engineering

• Landscape design, gardening

• Photography

• Probably lots more

Phase 2: maker lab and commons open to the public

• Maker lab specialists of various kinds willing to collaborate or teach

• Art and design tutors, collaborators, and workshop leaders

• Event planners

• Front desk

• Handyman, facility upkeep, etc

Phase 3: fit lab

• Fitness, movement, dance, wellness, and yoga mentors

• Equipment maintenance

• Fitness tech developers

• Sport science experts and enthusiasts

Phase 4: food lab

• Food safety experts

• Cooking enthusiasts willing to lead workshops

• Nutrition experts

Phase 5: music lab

• Musicians willing to collaborate, or tutor, or teach workshops

• Electronic music aficionados

• Electronic engineers

• Recording engineers
